  • "It is of utmost importance that we realise that the thyroid gland plays a most important part in many physiological processes in our bodies, especially in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates and that inhibition of its normal functions, e.g. by fluoride, will undoubtedly lead to the appearance of, or trigger, a host of other diseases e.g. overweight, obesity, deaf-mutism, congenital deformities, mental retardation, slower reaction time, etc."
